TREASURES OF THE EARTH Amethyst Hoops

From the first time I that I saw a geode, I was in love with amethyst, and believe me, that's been a LONG time!! :) I have loved rocks and minerals of all kinds ever since I was a kid. In fact, I still pull my old rock collection out now and then and look at it...It is believed that wearing amethyst can promote peace, courage, and inner strength in the wearer.
In honor of those celebrating Feb. birthdays, and a great big 50th bday to my best buddy Barb , I created these hoops using sterling silver and amethyst disc beads. The hoops are a about 1 inch round, and the amethyst drop is about 1/2 inch!
