Description

This spectacular solid stool is entirely made of recycled white oak wood from French wine barrels.

This is a larger version of our well recognized “Temple” little stool and was created for one of our most appreciated customers.

Our Emperor Seat is a perfect combination of practicality, comfort and sophistication; it can easily be integrated in any room of the house as a unique and handy piece of home decor.

We love the fact that we are able to help the environment by recycling the raw material and to turn it into an object of ‘practical elegance’ at the same time.

By using the natural arch of a barrel stave we are able to create this particularly attractive silhouette of definite oriental flavor.

The top and the sides are stained with the red wine previously held in the barrel and complemented with a rich ‘cherry chocolate’ finish.

The solid wood of an oak wine barrel has a very distinctive element of charm that is conveyed into every object we create.
Every individual barrel carries the signs of its unique history in every stave.

As no barrel band is the same, each piece might show natural imperfections, slight variations in color, grain & dimensions, all adding to the uniqueness of every item.

Each one is individually handcrafted sanded back to its original wood and creatively reinvented.

The Emperor Seat measurements are about 12”X16” (top) and approx. 14” height
(Each barrel stave is different so the size is APPROXIMATE).
