Cicada Wings
Description
Cicada wings on your ears?!!!?!?!?!Just don't fly away!
These are fine silver earrings made using real cicada wings. They hang from very simple sterling silver earwires.
The wings are about 1" in length.
Handcrafted by me in my Tennessee mountain studio, the earrings have been selectively oxidized to bring out the wing patterns.
Fine silver is a made from reclaimed silver. They are 99.9% pure silver. Sterling silver is 92.5% silver.
No cicadas were harmed in making these earrings.
Made from different wings, so they are not identical to each other.
