This is an ultra-cool Steampunk pin/brooch created from an antique pocket watch with a rich, time-aged patina. The pocket watch has subtle wide stripes etched into its surface. The balance cock also has stunning ornate etched scrolls. This is a beautiful timepiece that reveals its antique nature to everyone who views it.

Mounted to the pocket watch is a striking beetle finding. The silver beetle (not the ones from Manchester) has been hand-painted a deep purple with a metallic sheen. The pincers are a metallic green while there are gold metallic markings on the beetle's body. The legs have been left in their original silver finish. The beetle rests partly on and partly off of the pocket watch, making it look like it's on the move and just resting there a spell...

The pin measures approximately 1-1/2 inches in diameter and has a one inch pin back. This is a completely original one-of-a-kind design that you will love wearing everywhere.
