Marimekko - organza and taffeta ruffled peony comb with sparkly repurposed button

Description

This ruffled floral comb has been created using many layers of fabric. Colours of olive and scarlet combine to create a fabulous accessory with a Victoriana sensibility. Each fabric petal is cut out by hand and then finished to prevent fraying. Carefully handstitched together, a lovely matte patterned brass repurposed button has been added to the centre, and a lockable pin secured to the reverse.

This measures 8cm or just over 3" in width.
