Description

The Female Nude is a never ending source of inspiration in my work. The more I draw from the live model, the more I want to explore every possibility that is in front of me - how can I catch the light? What color is in the shadow? How can aI capture the figure's mood at this exact moment?

Sometimes, a simple addition of a scarf or a wrap injects a new element, as the Red Scarf did in this pose. The warm light on the red scarf was wonderful to capture in pastel!

This figure drawing from the live model is created with Nupastels on Colorfix paper. The image size is approx 13" x 18 1/2". The drawing has been sprayed, and signed by me, the artist, and will ship flat. Matted in white.
