vintage white porcelain chocolate set
Description
The English are credited with creating hot cocoa as we know it today when they added milk and sugar to the popular Spanish drink (which was mixed with wine!) and started to serve after meals. So of course the English would also come up with a civilized way to serve this expensive treat (before it came in single serving pouches complete with freeze dried marshmallows) and gave it as much ceremony as a proper tea.
This chocolate set is made from pristine white porcelain in Japan (hence the amazing handle), measuring aprx. 12" x 10" x 4 1/2". The eight perfect little cups measure : 2 1/4"h x 2" diam. (As size which would also be perfect for espresso.)
If you would like to give this hot chocolate set as a gift, add "gift wrap" to your cart. I will convo you for the details.
