This photos is witness to the first of the season for these Giant Passion Flowers. The vine on my back patio awning has just start to bloom. These passion flower vines are so prolific and the fragrance is heady, they appear to be prehistoric, something from another world yet they are real. Their fleeting bloom is monumental but short lived for the flower lasts just a day.
