Description

I painted the silk that I used for the outside and inside lining of this journal using a technique known as Arashi or pole-wrapping Shibori. A piece of 100% Habotai silk was
wrapped around a pole, saturated with silk paint and then left to dry for a week. The result is a gorgeous one of a kind piece of art cloth.

Closes securely with a rayon cording around a square purple button.

3 hand sewn signatures on the inside. Over 90 pages of good quality 32lb white cotton blend paper perfect for writing and sketching on. Also included are some of my own coordinating colored papers ready for you to write, doodle and draw on.

This journal has a fabric pocket on the inside front panel.

Approximately 9"x8" closed

Each journal is hand made one at a time by me.
