The pattern shows you how to completely line the bag so that there are no raw or serged seams showing. Also included are instructions on how to make your bag unique to you, including adding ruffles, utilizing vintage/recycled materials, and taking advantage of an embroidery machine.

And since they are quilted, they are machine-washable. They will even gain more character when washed. Just clean them as you would any other quilted project, or I recommend a gentle machine wash in cool water and hang drying. Just refresh them with a pressing and steam if needed.
