For those who love kaleidoscopic color and cozy warmth, this is the blanket for you! It is one of my signature afghans made using my favorite color-block method, which is based on a modern approach to the classic log cabin quilt block. The afghan is crocheted in one piece (that's right!) so there are no seams to shrink or come unraveled. I've used my favorite "thermal" stitch pattern, which produces a wonderful texture that keeps you warm without weight - just like your favorite thermal jammies.

The name of this piece reflects the gloriously colorful variegated yarn, surrounded by a swirl of compatible colors - just like a kaleidoscope! If you need a brightener for a room that's a little dark or just plain blah, look no further. This beauty will brighten up a dark or dull corner like nothing else! PLEASE NOTE: Computer screens can't do justice to the rich color of this afghan. The jewel tones are deep and rich - the outer border is a true royal purple. You will be amazed at the beauty of this glorious color when you see it in person.

Dimensions: At about 48" wide by 64" long, this piece is the perfect size for curling up with a good book or favorite movie on a winter's evening (don't forget the popcorn!). The measurements in metric are 122 cm by 162 cm approximately.

The yarn is standard worsted-weight acrylic, which is hypoallergenic, colorfast, durable, and easy care: Machine wash and dry. Complete care instructions are enclosed with the shipment.
