OCTOBER - Necklace

The rich hues of falling autumn leaves...

Sunny citrine, warm amber, earthy mahogany obsidian, blood red garnet and a rouge-tinted dyed quartz come together in celebration of my favorite time of year.

Each gemstone chip is perched on its own handmade sterling silver headpin and linked to the next to create a vibrantly colored chain of gems and silver.

The pendant at the heart of the necklace is comprised of Hill Tribes silver leaves and a further cascade of gemstones.

Except for the leaves, every component of this necklace -- the chain, the clasp, and each of the many, many headpins -- were handmade by me. It is a truly special piece that celebrates the season and will be certain to attract much attention and admiration.

An extender chain allows this necklace to be worn at various lengths from 15 1/2 to 17 inches. The pendant falls an additional 2 1/2 inches from the gemstone chain.
