Blue Moon - Tealight Holder

Description

This playful looking, 2.5" (6.5cm) glass votive holder is completely encased in Japanese Delica beads using the peyote beadweaving technique. The colors include several shades of yellow and blue and a scattering of white Delicas here and there for "stars". The pattern is my original design. I've always loved the deep cobalt blue and these beads really glow when a tea light is burning in this candle holder.

These votive holders take many, many hours to create as every bead is individually stitched into my own original patterns using the candle holder as a form. There are well over 4,000 beads in each piece.
