When I read the recipes in Dame Darcy’s memoir, Hi Jax & Hi Jinx, I decided to buy this cookbook, because the recipes mentioned in the memoir sounded so damn good! I am vegan and always on the lookout for new and interesting recipes. However, I don’t love cooking, so I am a fan of recipes that are easy to follow and don’t involve a ton of preparation. This book did not disappoint! Aside from featuring delicious and uncomplicated recipes that don’t take hours and hours to make, it also contains beautiful Dame Darcy illustrations that I am a long-time fan of to go along with the handwritten pages. Also, the book was delivered with such thoughtfulness and a personal note.

This cookbook is adorable, and I love all the handwritten pages and drawings! There was a bit of a mixup with shipping but DD fixed it promptly and provided great customer service.
