Verdaderamente, comenzó en la mesa del comedor, con todas las cosas divertidas que he estado coleccionando. Debe haber sido un día lluvioso, obligado a estar en el interior. Probablemente tenía una gran melodía tocando, con ganas de crear y teniendo esa pequeña bombilla brillando; una nueva idea!
Tengo un montón de muestras de tela, que por supuesto, no puedo tirar... así que hice mi primera bolsa de manos libres para mí, agregando un botón de piedra y esa fue la primera lista en Etsy hace tres años. Se vende en dos semanas. ¡¡Eso estaba caliente!! Así que hice más y enumeré más. Pero no pasó nada, ¿suerte de principiantes?
Así que tal vez fueron los botones de piedra que les gustaron y tengo muchos de los que puedo hacer. Me encanta recoger esos pequeños guijarros en mis paseos por nuestras costas, o en cualquier otro en el que podamos estar de vacaciones.
Efectivamente, enumeré un conjunto de cinco botones de piedra ... ido... vendido:)
Feliz y poco hice mi segunda venta, con muchas vistas, sabía que estaba en algo.
Y así es como dirijo mi pequeña tienda; ¿Qué es divertido de hacer? ¿Qué nueva idea aparecerá en mi cabeza a continuación? Mientras tanto, hay muchos perforadores de piedra en Etsy, así que trato de mantener mi tienda actualizada con nuevas creaciones. Por supuesto, todo esto depende del clima exterior. Si está lloviendo, generalmente me divierto en la mesa del comedor :)
Oh, sí, tengo mi propia colección de piedras raras de todo este hermoso país. Parece que planeo nuestras vacaciones, familia pobre, alrededor de pilas de rocas :) como el Gran Cañón, el estado de Washington, lugares así; paraísos de rockhound. Para mí, una piedra encontrada o una pieza de vidrio marino es especial como una esmeralda o un diamante, pero sin perturbar a la Tierra. Es cierto que me encantaría encontrar un ópalo, pero viendo cómo esos no se quedan por ahí, pasaré :) Me maravillo de la cantidad de tiempo, presión, calor y condiciones climáticas que se necesitan para hacer un ágata, y esas cosas se encuentran, así que estoy igual de emocionado.
En mi opinión, considero que las piedras incrustadas en la concha son realmente únicas, porque en realidad se fundieron juntas, durante el proceso de presión, calor y tiempo, o eso creo. A medida que se desmoronan de la superficie de la Tierra y caen en las olas del océano, se vuelven más suaves y luego son expulsados del océano y, si tengo suerte, puedo encontrarlos, brillando bajo el sol de la mañana.
Me quedo con algunas piedras, comparto la mayoría; es más divertido seguir buscando más y tomando fotos. Y, por supuesto, ganar algo de dinero para el próximo viaje familiar :)

Truly, it started on the dining room table, with all the fun stuff I've been collecting. It must have been a rainy day, forced to be indoors. Probably had a great tune playing, in the mood to create and having that little lightbulb shining; a new idea!
I have loads of fabric samples, which of course, I can not toss...so I made my first hands-free for me pouch, adding a stone button and that was the first listing on Etsy three years ago. Sold in two weeks. That was hot!! So I made more and listed more. But nothing happened, beginners luck?
So maybe it was the stone buttons they liked and I have plenty of those I can make. I love collecting those little pebbles on my walks along our shores, or any others we might be vacationing to.
Sure enough, I listed a set of five stone buttons...gone...sold:)
Happy little me made my second sale, with lots of views, I knew I was on to something.
And that's how I run my little shop; what's fun to make? What new idea will pop into my head next. In the meantime, there are lots of stone drillers on Etsy, so I try and keep my shop current with new creations. Of course, this all depends on the weather outside. If it's raining, I'm usually having fun at the dining room table:)
Oh, yes, I have my own collection of rare stones from all over this beautiful country. It seems I plan our vacations, poor family, around rock piles:) like the Grand Canyon, Washington State, places like that; rockhound paradises. To me, a found stone or sea glass piece is special as an emerald or diamond, but without disturbing the Earth. True, I'd love to find an opal, but seeing how those don't lay around, I'll pass:) I marvel at the amount of time, pressure, heat and weather conditions it takes to make an agate, and those do lay about so I'm just as thrilled.
In my opinion, I consider the shell embedded stones really unique, because they actually melted together, during the process of pressure, heat and time, or so I think. As they then crumble off the Earth surface and tumble in the ocean waves, they become smoother and then get expelled from the ocean and if I am fortunate, I get to find them, gleaming in the morning sun.
I keep some stones, I share most; it's more fun to keep looking for more and taking photos. And of course, making some money for the next family trip:)
