I rolled a nat 20 on this fate die because the experience has been "Yes, And, And." It arrived on time and was shipped with care. I even opened the package to find a hand-written note with my name on it from the seller wishing me well on my adventures using the fate die (very nice touch...Also, I covered my name in the picture, FYI). The die is high quality, large, and easy to read. I'm really looking forward to using this for solo and duet TTRPG adventures and maybe even incorporating it from time to time in some of my campaigns to keep things unpredictable. I came across a YouTube video mentioning the Fate Mill D20. I love dice and I ended up buying both the v1 and larger v2 dice. The products and packaging look awesome. They’re going to be a fun addition to my gaming sessions. But what I appreciated most was a personal handwritten note that accompanied the items. This kind of gesture is really what makes Etsy great to me. I love buying interesting things directly from the creators, and when they add a little personal touch, it really makes me want to come back to their store and I feel a connection. The personal interaction sets the experience apart from buying something from a big store or company.

This is a top quality die with razor sharp, engraved & painted characters. It's got a nice midnight blue appearance with swirls of metallic through it that give it a great 'magical' feel. Truly top-notch! Most of all though, this is a great concept for answering open-ended yes-and-no type questions and beyond. Practice with it a bit before your next game – perhaps look at your map and imagine some of the questions you might be asked by PCs along the way. Once you get your brain used to using it (doesn't take long at all), it's an incredibly helpful tool.

I was expecting your average d20, but I am very happy with the quality. The writing on the die is very easy to read and feels satisfying in the hand when rolling. I also found the die to be much prettier in person. It exceeded my expectations on many levels. The "unboxing" experience was so much more than I expected. There was a hand written note included in the package. While it confused me at first as I did not think anyone did this anymore, it was a wonderful way to begin the experience. Inside was the die, a sticker I am worried my wife is trying to steal from me, thorough instructions on how to use the die, and a very interesting bit of lore with regard to the Fate Mill. I am thoroughly impressed with the product and I cannot wait to see what else they do!
