For anyone who loves wearing a scarf to ward off the cold but doesn't like the bother of constantly having to rewind one or both ends of the scarf that've come unwound, wearing this soft Merino wool cowl is the perfect solution! Hand knit on a large circular needle, the cowl is basically one large loop measuring approximately 24"" long- (48" all the way around,) and approximately 5" tall from the lower border of ribbing to the top of the upper border. Being one large loop it has no seams and no ends to wrap around the neck. It is easy to wear, requiring just a slip over the head, a single twist & over the head again resulting in a second layer of scarf wrapping the neck in softness, warmth & the beautiful colors of the merino superwash wool fiber.

Hand-dyed in Peru this yarn is fine, light-weight, and strong. The stitches created are small and close together, making it more effective at keeping out the cold. Since each hank of yarn is hand dyed no two hanks of yarn are identical, making this cowl unique and one of a kind.



According to the yarn instructions, it can be machine washed in cool water- (I would put it in a lingerie bag for protection & wash on a Delicate setting) - Then lay out flat to dry

I loved knitting this cowl! It was like a mini-fireworks display, each color bursting from the previous color, It was exciting to watch the ball of yarn unravel and take it’s place on my needles, like pieces falling into place in a jigsaw puzzle.with the final "look" slowly emerging.

Creating this cowl gave me such joy! It was my hope to infuse that joy into my work, "charging" each carefully executed stitch with positive energy and warmth while it surrounds the wearer.
