Frequently asked questions
Do these work in Google Sheets?
Yes. Every spreadsheet download includes a PDF with one-click Google Sheets links: click one and choose Make a copy. The copy is yours, in your own Google Drive. You need a free Google account.
Which Excel versions work?
Excel 2019 or newer on Windows or Mac. No Microsoft 365 subscription needed, no macros, no add-ins and no internet connection.
The file opens view-only. What do I do?
In Google Sheets: File > Make a copy. In Excel: click Enable Editing on the yellow bar.
How do I get my files after purchase?
Instantly: You > Purchases > Download files. Downloads work best from a computer browser rather than the Etsy app.
Can I use another currency or start in any month?
Yes. Amounts are plain numbers, so any currency works; the Canadian templates have a currency symbol setting. Start whenever you like: you enter your own dates.
Is it in French?
The Canadian templates (Paycheque Budget and the add-ons) switch every label to French with one setting. Les modèles canadiens sont aussi en français.
