Sono nato e cresciuto a Dundee, in Scozia, e scatto foto da oltre un decennio.
Nel corso degli anni ho avuto la fortuna di vincere numerosi concorsi e premi per il mio lavoro - a livello nazionale e internazionale in alcuni dei più grandi concorsi fotografici attirando iscrizioni in centinaia di migliaia. Niente mi rende più orgoglioso che avere il mio lavoro in mostra in tutto il mondo, soprattutto per promuovere i luoghi che ho fotografato.
Alcuni dei miei clienti includono marchi prestigiosi come V & A, VisitScotland e Microsoft e ho avuto una delle mie immagini sulla valuta del Regno Unito in due diverse occasioni. Ho anche pubblicato due libri che mostrano i punti di vista della Scozia e ho venduto il mio lavoro come opere d'arte di lusso / uniche a clienti privati e aziendali per molti anni, spesso pezzi unici progettati su misura.
La mia convinzione è che noi fotografi abbiamo un lavoro importante non solo per documentare ciò che ci circonda, ma per condividere il nostro lavoro al fine di promuovere la bellezza del mondo agli altri. Condividendo le nostre conoscenze con gli altri, non solo per ispirare le future generazioni di fotografi, ma anche per spingere i confini e la qualità del nostro lavoro, inevitabilmente alzeremo il gioco per il meglio.
I was born and raised in Dundee, Scotland and have been taking pictures for over a decade.
Over the years I have been fortunate enough to win numerous competitions and awards for my work - at national and international levels in some of the biggest photography competitions attracting entries in the hundreds of thousands. Nothing makes me prouder than having my work showcased around the World especially to promote the places I have photographed.
Some of my clients include prestigious brands such as the V&A, VisitScotland & Microsoft and I have had one of my images feature on UK currency on two separate occasions. I have also published two books showcasing Scotland's viewpoints and have been selling my work as luxury/unique artworks to private and corporate clients for many years, often one-off custom designed pieces.
My belief is that we as photographers have an important job not just to document our surroundings but to share our work in order to promote the beauty of the World to others. By sharing our knowledge with others, not just to inspire future generations of photographers, but to also push the boundaries and quality of our own work, we will inevitably raise the game for the better.
