Due to the nature of bamboo, walnut, and maple wood, the coloring, markings, knots, and characteristics will vary and may result in lighter and darker areas in the engraving and wood boards.
In particular, note that the tone of the walnut wood may range from light brown to almost black.
Each board will be unique; some of them will engrave darker or lighter than the picture shown in the listing.
We use a clear butcher block conditioner containing food-grade mineral oil,
which seals the wood and protects the board while allowing you to enjoy the natural beauty of the wood.
We do not use stains, so the color you see reflects the natural color of the wood.
