From Barbie's yarn to tailor-made dreams: thirty years of passion and tailoring.
It all began on my bedroom floor, covered in colorful ribbons, scraps of fabric stolen from the sewing box at home, and a pair of scissors too big for my childish hands. While my friends played at imagining stories for their Barbies, I was obsessed with only one thing: how to dress them. I spent hours draping scraps of lace, folding fabrics, and assembling tiny gala dresses with imperfect stitching but brimming with pure imagination. For me, those dolls weren't just toys, they were my first models.
As I grew older, that game turned into an unstoppable calling. The way I looked at clothes changed: I no longer just looked at the colors, but I looked for the seams, I studied the drape of the fabrics, I tried to understand how a simple thread could give shape to the material. I chose to transform my passion into a profession, immersing myself in the study of tailoring, cutting techniques, and haute couture. I learned the value of patience, the pinpoint precision of paper patterns, and a profound respect for every type of fabric, from the rawest linen to the most impalpable silk.
With dressmaker's chalk between my fingers and thimble-marked fingertips, my atelier was finally born. Entering my workshop means crossing the threshold into a world where time slows down and ideas take shape.
For nearly thirty years, this tailoring shop has been the beating heart of my life. Over these three decades, my hands have created everything: cloud-light wedding dresses, elegant and structured evening gowns, tailored suits for everyday wear, and delicate repairs that have brought beloved pieces back to life. Every customer who walks through my doors brings with them a dream, and my job is to tailor it to their personality.
Today, when I stop to look at the brightly lit workshop, with the spools of thread neatly arranged on the walls and the mannequins dressed in my latest creations, I can still see that little girl sitting on the floor. The scissors have changed and the skill has been honed over thirty years of experience, but the magic remains exactly the same: transforming a blade of cloth grass into a wearable dream.
