Hi! Thanks for stopping in having a look around my shop! I’m excited you’ve dropped in. I hope you see something that inspires you or maybe something you can’t live without.
I have always loved “playing” with paper and everything that goes along with it….ever since I was a little girl. My favorite Christmas memory as a child was the year my mother got me a bunch of office supplies. I thought I had died and gone to heaven!! Not dolls, not games…it was with paper, scissors, glue, paper clips, file folders and the such that Santa made my Christmas Dreams come true.
Now as an adult I still LOVE “playing” with paper and making journals and cards, decorating and embellishing file folders, and cigar boxes, designing my own decks of cards and memory albums. If it involves paper, I’m all about it!
When the pandemic hit, I was sent home from my job as a librarian indefinitely so I turned to “paper playing” on a full-time basis.
Then in April of 2021 I was diagnosed was a very aggressive form of Triple Negative Breast Cancer. I have completed 20 weeks of chemotherapy (including 8 weeks of The Red Devil) had a partial mastectomy a little over a month ago, will begin radiation in a week or two, then have more chemotherapy. It’s been a long journey with more to go. But through it all I’ve still been playing with my paper.
Going forward, I will donate a portion of every purchase made from my shop to the American Cancer Society. I’m blessed in so many ways despite this horrible illness and I want to give back as much as I can! So you can be a part of fighting cancer by making a purchase from my shop.
