Hi, I’m Liliia — a fashion constructor and pattern maker from Ukraine with years of hands-on experience developing patterns H for clothing brands, production workshops, and private studios. for clothing brands, production workshops, and private studios.
I started SaLi Patterns because I believe that the clothes you sew yourself should feel as good as anything you’d find in a boutique — and that starts with a pattern that actually works.
Pattern making is technical work. A small error in construction means hours of frustration at the machine. I know this because I’ve spent years solving exactly these problems — figuring out why a sleeve doesn’t sit right, why a waistband pulls, why the same size fits differently in different fabrics. That knowledge is built into every pattern I create.
My earlier patterns were developed with experienced sewists in mind. My recent collections are designed with much more detailed guidance — step-by-step photo instructions, fabric behaviour notes, and construction explanations that make the process clear even if you’re approaching a design like this for the first time.
