HOW SCRIPTURE SEEDLINGS STARTED
Scripture Seedlings was born out of a simple conviction: the most important thing you can give a child is not information about God but formation in God's wisdom; the kind that shows up in how they treat a friend who is struggling, how they respond when someone is unkind, how they make a choice when no one is watching.
We looked at what existed for children's faith education and found a market full of alphabet sets for toddlers and adult devotionals that lost older children entirely. The 6-13 age range, the years when character is being formed most powerfully and peer pressure is becoming real, was almost entirely unserved with quality, beautiful, age-appropriate biblical content.
So we built it ourselves.
WHAT MAKES OUR PRODUCTS DIFFERENT
Every card in a Scripture Seedlings deck is built around a moment a real situation a child actually lives. The playground. The classroom. The sibling argument. The moment no one is watching. The friend who tells the truth even when it costs something.
We bring that moment to life first, then anchor it in scripture, so the verse lands somewhere the child already recognizes. That is not a design choice. It is how formation works.
Our decks also include something no competitor offers a NOTE section on every single card. Parents write personal messages. Sunday school teachers record discussion answers. Homeschool families mark which cards sparked the best conversations. The deck becomes a keepsake, not just a tool. And because we believe every child deserves to see themselves in the stories they learn from, our illustrations feature diverse children and adults across race, ethnicity, age, and background; Black, Asian, Latina, South Asian, Middle Eastern, and white characters across ages 2-13, so every child who picks up one of our cards feels seen.
