¡Bienvenido! Soy Matt, el fundador de Sentient Designs Co. Si estás leyendo esto, gracias por interesarte en mi trabajo. Aquí hay algunos antecedentes sobre cómo y por qué comencé a hacer joyas.
Siempre me han fascinado los diferentes minerales, su formación y el juego de colores en las piedras preciosas. Hace unos años, decidí intentar envolver algunas gemas con alambre y se las regalé a miembros de mi familia.
La gente empezó a notar estos colgantes envueltos en alambre y preguntó dónde podían comprarlos. Esto provocó la creación de Sentient Designs Co., con la idea de hacer joyas muy especiales hechas a mano. Al principio, me centré en envolver alambre y, durante el confinamiento de 2020, hice numerosas piezas que se agotaron rápidamente en nuestra página de Instagram @sentientdesignsco y en nuestra tienda de Etsy.
En 2021 me llamaron la atención los anillos con incrustaciones de resina. Pasé una cantidad considerable de tiempo investigando y aprendiendo cómo crearlos. Desde entonces, he ido añadiendo nuevos productos y colecciones a esta tienda para que la gente disfrute.
Mi objetivo es seguir aportando diseños frescos e innovadores, así como explorar otros estilos de elaboración de joyas. Lo que empezó como un hobby se ha convertido en un viaje apasionante.

Welcome! I'm Matt, the founder of Sentient Designs Co. If you're reading this, thank you for taking an interest in my work. Here’s a bit of background on how and why I started making jewellery.
I've always been fascinated by different minerals, their formation, and the play of color in gemstones. A few years ago, I decided to try my hand at wire wrapping some gems and gifted them to family members.
People began to notice these wire-wrapped pendants and asked where they could buy them. This sparked the creation of Sentient Designs Co., with the idea of making handmade, extra special jewellery. Initially, my focus was on wire wrapping, and during the lockdown of 2020, I made numerous pieces that sold out quickly on our Instagram page @sentientdesignsco and our Etsy shop.
In 2021, resin inlay rings caught my attention. I spent a considerable amount of time researching and learning how to create them. Since then, I've been adding new products and collections to this shop for people to enjoy.
My goal is to continue bringing fresh and innovative designs, as well as exploring other styles of jewellery making. What started as a hobby has turned into an exciting journey.
