I bought this for a friend who is a Doctor Who from dating back to watching the originals on PBS when she was a child. She was blown away by the unique gift. It was a beautiful piece that she will enjoy for years. The shipment was timely, and a wonderful handwritten note accompanied it.

Ebroideries of different types. I always have an idea for a work in my head, and am always eager to start the next one, which is why I mostly only do one of each. If you want more than one of something, just contact me - chances are that I can make it.
I take special orders. However, I do not make things that go against my conscience. That means no anti-LGBTQI+, racist, right wing, anti-feminist stuff.

The volve was in Norse times a sort of seeress, who were partly respected, partly feared. She went into a trance by spinning a thread while other women chanted. These were women free from gender roles and family ties, called to for help and advice.
They could do magic, manipulate the nature and weather patterns, travel through different realms, and send their spirits to other parts of the world.
In Voluspå, Odin travels to Hel, the land of the dead, to hear the future. That's where we learn about Ragnarok.

As an Old Norse philologist and Medieval historian, the volve were a natural inspiration for the shop.
