Our cats like to help with the pattern cutting sometimes. Though "helping" usually means chasing the set square. -

Sizing details
Each individual listing currently specifies bust, waist and hip measurements (where applicable) for all available sizes. Please contact us if you require further fit details (e.g. inside leg, shoulder to shoulder, etc)
Care instructions
All of our pieces are made from natural fabrics and require gentle care - we recommend that our pieces are hand washed and dried flat or on a hanger, ideally (it's greener!) but they are also made to last in the 21st century and can be washed at a low heat and ironed on a medium heat (or a high heat with a protective layer to avoid damage) - natural fabrics crease very easily so ironing is certainly recommended!
Gift wrapping and packaging
All of our packaging, bar the tape and label, is recyclable. We are looking into recyclable tape for the future, as well as using recycled packaging. Our pieces are packed using tissue paper and branded content, as well as a receipt - if you'd like your purchase to be a gift, let us know, and we'll leave the receipt out (if you need a copy, this can be sent to a different address or emailed out to you - we prefer email, of course!)
VAT, Taxes and Charges
brm is based in the UK, however we are not a VAT registered company as we do not meet the minimum threshold necessary to charge and pay VAT. That means that brm prices do not include VAT, but you will not be charged any extra upon check out.
If you are in the UK or the EU (for now), you will only pay the price you see on the item page, plus postage.
However, if you live elsewhere in the world, you may have to pay import duties and/or taxes. This is unavoidable, and is payable on all goods over a certain monetary value (differs depending on your country!). We urge you to check what your country's import duty is before you order to avoid nasty surprises. The liability for paying these fees lies wholly with the buyer, by law.
