Come tutto cominciò...
How it all began...
Nel 2016 il mio bambino stava raggiungendo un'età in cui era pronto per uscire dalla culla. Abbiamo iniziato a cercare opzioni e mi sono imbattuto in adorabili strutture per letti di casa su Pinterest, ma non sono riuscito a trovarne nessuna negli Stati Uniti e non ero in grado di spendere qualche centinaio di dollari per la spedizione. Sono sempre stato un risolutore di problemi e un creatore, quindi sono andato al tavolo da disegno e ho ideato il mio progetto.
Dopo aver condiviso il letto sul mio account Instagram, la gente ha iniziato a chiedermi di loro. Ho subito iniziato a trainare il mio bambino di 2 anni fino al deposito di casa e mi sono subito messo al lavoro segando sul balcone del nostro appartamento in pieno inverno nello Utah, ed è nato questo piccolo negozio! Ho iniziato offrendo solo l'opzione delle dimensioni del lettino e da allora mi sono ampliato fino a offrire taglie doppie e matrimoniali!
Nel 2017 ho avuto il mio secondo figlio nato con la sindrome di Angelman. Avevo bisogno di trovare un modo per continuare a portare avanti la mia attività senza dover rifare manualmente ogni letto. Semplicemente non avevo tempo. Ho trovato un produttore che era in grado di rifare i miei letti esattamente come li avevo fatti io (ok, molto meglio!) e ho fatto un grosso ordine!
So che ora ci sono molte più opzioni disponibili, quindi ti sono grato per essere qui e aver scelto di sostenere questo negozio di proprietà di mamma!
Aggiornamento: con il passare degli anni mi sento come se avessi sempre meno tempo da dedicare a questa mia piccola attività, tesoro, ed è purtroppo ora di chiudere bottega. È stata una decisione difficile, ma era ora. Grazie a tutti i clienti passati o futuri che potrebbero leggere questo. È stata una tale gioia contribuire a rendere la stanza di tuo figlio un po' magica!

In 2016 my little boy was getting to an age where he was ready to transition out of his crib. We began looking for options and I came across adorable house bed frames on pinterest, but I couldn't find any within the US and I wasn't in a position to spend a few hundred dollars on shipping. I've always been a problem solver and a creator, so I went to the drawing board and figured out my own design.
After I shared the bed on my instagram account, people started asking about them. I immediately started towing my 2 year old to home depot and quickly got to work sawing away on our apartment balcony in the middle of winter in Utah, and this little shop was born! I began with only offering a crib size option and have expanded since then to offering twin and full sizes!
In 2017 I had my second child who was born with Angelman Syndrome. I needed to figure out a way to still keep my business going without having to hand make every bed. I just didn't have the time. I found a manufacturer who was able to make my beds exactly as I had (okay, a lot better!) and placed a large order!
I know there are many more options available now, so I am grateful to you for being here and choosing to support this momma owned shop!
Update: As the years have gone on, I feel like I have less and less time to devote to this little business baby of mine and it's sadly time to close shop. It was a hard decision, but it's time. Thank you to any past or future customers who might be reading this. It's been such a joy to be a part of making your child's room a little bit magical!
