Illustration based on the (2018) HBO adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s (2006) novel ‘Sharp Objects’.

The illustration depicts the haunting tale, through carefully curated images drawn from the series. The story itself is one of self-reflection as seen through the lens of the main protagonist and reporter Camille Preaker (played masterfully by Amy Adams), who returns to her hometown in order to investigate a series of murders.

The image was originally just a personal work I wanted to make in response to my love for the show. I however had the opportunity to revamp the design (from the unfinished original), for Gallery 1988’s (2020) ‘Idiot Box’, which showcases works dedicated to popular television shows.

Due to the extreme level of detail in the image it is only currently available in 11" x 14", on high quality photo paper.

Watermark does not appear on print.
