The cookies have lavender flowers and real lavender extract in the buttery shortbread dough.
The cookies are covered with a glaze that has the lavender extract in it and then topped with lavender flowers. Simply delicious!

These cookies are small, about 1 1/4".

These cookies would be a wonderful hostess or housewarming gift.
You can even add them to a gift basket.

They go great with a warm cup of floral tea, a glass of icy cold milk or your favorite cup of coffee.
