Whipped or solid, tallow balm is a skin healing miracle you won’t want to be without. It might seem kind of strange at first to use something like beef fat on your skin. The truth is, using tallow for a skin moisturizer is a practice that is thousands of years old. It’s truly a traditional skincare product that has been loved for centuries.

Your best skin awaits! There is truly nothing that feeds the skin quite like tallow does. Grass-fed tallow has a nutrient dense fatty acid profile that works particularly well with human skin. It penetrates the skin barrier to deliver its abundant fat-soluble activators. It contains vitamins A, D, E, and K — which are necessary for skin health as well as containing conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) which has anti-inflammatory properties.

Tallow balm deeply moisturizes dry skin, repairs damage and heals the skin. It soothes eczema and rosacea prone skin, chronically dry skin and gives long term anti-aging benefits. It even reduces pore size and brightens the skin. The results are cumulative, and skin keeps getting lovelier with continued use. This is truly a multi-purpose product: Wonderful for dry, flaky irritated skin; crow's feet, it works as an under-eye cream, great for neck and décolleté, lip balm, hand, foot and body cream.

The fat is sourced from my own, grass-fed steers and locally sourced Grass Fed Steers. Only ethical and sustainable farming practices.

I have a small herd of Jersey Cows whom I love! I use their milk to make milk and tallow soaps and our steers are humanely slaughtered and I use their suet to make Tallow which I use for cooking, Soap making and making wonderful creams such as this one.

The suet has been rendered at low temperatures to preserve the integrity of the nutrients and enzymes. Due to its naturally long shelf life, there are no preservatives or chemicals added to this formula, and it remains completely pure and unadulterated.

** PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE CONSISTENCY OF TALLOW CHANGES FROM SUMMER TO WINTER ***

Just like coconut oil, an unadulterated pure product with no emulsifying agents will be harder in winter, and softer in summer. You can leave your tallow on top of or near a radiator to keep it buttery soft, or scoop some into your hands and warm it before applying. Keeping it near a heat source will not damage the properties of the cream.
