Highlights
"Interval" is an original mezzotint, handmade and printed by the artist from a copper plate. The image size is 6" x 6" on a sheet of Hannehmuhle Copperplate paper sized 14" x 11". Printed in an edition of 50, there are 7 impressions available here on Etsy.
Art Werger is one of the premier artists working in the medium of mezzotint. He has received over 200 awards for his work and is acknowledged as one of the masters of color intaglio printing, etching and aquatint. He is the most prolific artist to have worked in mezzotint with over 500 editioned prints in his catalogue resume.
This piece has been individually printed, hand numbered and signed by the artist. There will be no additional future editions printed. The individual prints were inked with Gamblin Portland Cool black ink on Hahnemühle Copperplate bright white paper and are slip-sheeted with archival glassine.
