~~~PLEASE READ the following Frequently Asked Questions ~~~
-
**Is All Of Your Driftwood Aquarium Safe?:
ALL of our driftwood is 100% aquarium safe. Never cleaned with any chemicals and every shipment we receive is tested to make sure it is free of any insects/debris before posting anything for sale. We take the safety and quality of our product very serious!
-
**Is there anything I have to do to the driftwood before adding it to my aquarium?:
For the most part, all of our driftwood is aquarium ready. We suggest giving the driftwood a quick rinsing under clean water. Some driftwood may contain tannin's that can "brown" the water slightly in your aquarium. However most of our driftwood contains little tannin's. If you wish to leech the tannin's out of the driftwood before placing it into your aquarium, simply soak the driftwood in a separate clean bucket of water changing the water out periodically as it browns until the water remains clear. The tannin's will not harm your fish, we find most of our customers will opt to give the driftwood a quick rinse and add right to their aquarium.
-
**Do you combine shipping if I purchase multiple items?:
Yes, We will always make sure you get the best deal on shipping. We are more than happy to combine your order into one box to save you cost on shipping. If you overpay for shipping we will immediately make sure you get refunded the over charge amount!
-
**Will the driftwood sink immediately or will it float?:
This answer varies from piece to piece. Some pieces of driftwood are more buoyant than others. Most of our driftwood typically will sink with in a few days or sooner but we can not guarantee this. We do offer driftwood attached to slate that will stay sunk in your aquarium for immediate use. However, these decorations as well could take a day or two to stay sunken if the attached driftwood is very buoyant.
