A beautiful hand crafted prayer/meditation stool in solid oak angled for comfort so that you can pray or meditate in a kneeling position with no discomfort to the knees and your spine kept straight.

The height of the standard stool is 7.5 inches, 19cm, dropping to 6.5 inches 17.5cm at the front. The width is 6 inches, 15cm. The length is 18inches , 46 cm. The oak is approximately 1 inch 3cm in thickness.

Standard stools will suit heights between 5 foot 3 inches or 160cms and 5 feet 10 inches or 178 cms.

Small stools are recommended for heights under 5 foot 3 inches or 160cms.

Tall stools are recommended for heights over 5 feet 10 inches or 178 cms

I make all stools to order so you can of course specify your own dimensions as each stool will be bespoke.

As with the dimensions I can also offer other finishes such as a natural danish oil finish, light oak, medium oak, dark oak, or a natural wax finish. The legs are also angled outwards so that they cannot fold in on themselves. They are attached to the seat with good quality hinges so that they can fold under for ease of storage or transport. The hinges are Brass plated steel. They will give years of service.

Really lovely bench. It's heavier than others because it is made from hardwood, but the finish, the quality, and the rounded corners are good if you are sensitive to these things. I think it's one of the nicer ones I've seen and very good value
