✦ PREPARATION BEFORE FIRST USE (IMPORTANT)
A natural gourd must be prepared before use:

1. Fill 3/4 full with used yerba mate
2. Add lukewarm (not boiling) water
3. Let it rest for 24 hours
4. Gently scrape the inside and then rinse

This step prevents cracking and prolongs the life of your gourd.

• Leave to dry upside down
• Never leave stagnant water inside
