I just got it yesterday. The weight feels right, not too heavy, not too light for a fur throw. The 5x7 isn't quilt heavy, but has a good feel. The quality of the fur is nice to the touch. We haven't roughed it up as it looks too nice to see how well it holds up to age. I would buy another one, but I think this one will last us a long time.
