Custom and personalised orders

No custom orders! I repeat: No custom orders! Sorry, about empathizing this, but my previous declarations about this, have been disregarded many a times. Aufgrund gesundheitlicher Probleme bin ich derzeit nicht in der Lage meinen Shop zu betreiben. Keine Sorge: Alle zuvor getätigten Bestellungen sind bereits bearbeitet und verschickt. und sollten in den nächsten Tagen eintreffen, so noch nicht geschehen. I don't have the means to make custom or personalized prints, because i barely even find time to implement my own ideas. And i find it difficult to dedicate myself to the idea of someone which i might not feel in align with. There are Etsy stores that are dedicated to take on custom orders, which you can find with the Etsy search function.

All patches usually only come in one size for each design. Screen printing doesn't work like a printer that is connected to the computer, where one just scales the image to an desired size and print it out. From the design a static copy is created by transferring it to the mesh of the screen, which is a elaborate process. The size of some of my patches might be considered as awkward, because they are larger than a regular patch (and require some space of clothing) and yet sometimes smaller than a backpatch. I add the size of print to each product description and in addition try to take photos that give an idea of the size.

Other than prints that where created industrially and treated with a variety of chemicals, my patches need to be treated with much care. If i am honest the patches aren't intended to be washed on a regular basis. If washed for many a times, the print will detach itself from the fabric and fade. To make it last, i recommend, washing it and the piece of clothing (inside-out) by hand. However, no customer so far has ever complained that washing ruined the patch. The edges aren't seemed by default.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I don't offer any gift wrapping. However, i process each order with much care and use quality envelopes to protect the items enough. All orders are usually processed in a gay way and fit into envelopes with hand written address and maybe a heart (or several) on them.

Every now and then i take notice of someone indicating, that they not know how to make use of patches, despite they fancy them. So i made a little sewing guide based on the experience i have gathered throughout the years, which might be of inspiration. Beetle print on cotton. Designed by me and crafted non-industrially in my apartment as screen print. Either Light gray on black, dark gray or brown. Or Black on either a brownish color, gray, a grayisch color or unbleached cotton. Size or print approx. 3½ x 6 inches. Margin to edge of fabric varies from patch to patch, though it's never less than half an inch.
