* Our soap & our shampoo bars are made using the traditional cold processed method which retains all the goodness and the natural moisturiser - glycerine. Most commercial soaps have this lovely ingredient taken out which is why soap can be very drying on the skin.

* Our handmade soaps have no artificial ingredients and no unnecessary chemicals added to produce colour, fragrances, texture or added preservatives.

* We use fresh and natural ingredients. Essential oils, dried herbs and flowers. Along with a variety of specialty oils such as cocoa butter, coconut oil & Olive Oil.

* These are just a few of the lovelies we add to make our soaps special and kind! We DO NOT use PALM OIL.

* They are also suitable for vegetarians & vegans (except soaps that contain bee products & goat’s milk). We are strongly opposed to animal testing or harming animals in any way.

* All of our soaps have been safety tested and comply with current EU & UK legislation and regulations.

Please be aware these are NOT specific shampoo bars. We have a lot of customers who find these work very well for them but it may not suit your hair type. We’d recommend buying a small sample bar to try it out first & follow the instructions below.

If it doesn’t work for your hair it’s perfectly useable as a bar soap for general washing.

If using with medium to long hair please note there is a transition period of anywhere between a few washes and a few months, where your hair will adjust to this new way of washing and starts to rid the hair/scalp of chemicals from previous use of shampoo. Your hair may feel ‘waxy’ for a time before your hair adjusts to a shampoo bar. But once your hair/scalp gets used to the shampoo bar your hair will feel great!

I would highly advise using apple cider vinegar or lemon juice diluted in water as a final rinse, this acts as a neutraliser and conditioner! I use 1 tablespoon of apple vinegar in 1 litre of cold water, then rinse this out. This helps the hair to feel soft instead of the heavy waxy feel during the transition period.

All bars are wrapped with an attractive eco-friendly branded Kraft paper band and will be wrapped up in coloured tissue paper. Packaging will (depending on quantity of bars ordered) be in a Kraft envelope, cardboard large letter box or larger carboard box. All packaging is fully recyclable and limited to only what we absolutely need to use to ensure safe delivery to you.
