Using silicone molds to create your resin jewellery can open up so many possibilities. After you have gone to the trouble of purchasing your silicone molds you will want to care for them so they last. Caring for your molds isn’t difficult, but their are a few things to remember.

Store all your silicone molds in a single layer, flat layer. Storing them in a pile may cause them to bend and warp. Once molds are warped, it can no longer be undone. 💡 To create more storage space, use a piece of cardboard on top of a layer of molds. Be sure to evenly distribute the molds on the next layer.

Store your molds in a cool, dry area and out of direct sunlight. Excessive heat can cause molds to warp or breakdown.

If you’re not using your molds for a while, then consider storing your castings in the molds to keep the molds in shape
Don’t pierce holes in your molds. This may cause the mold to loose shape.
Wash your molds with warm water and mild soap before storing. Do not use solvents to clean molds and do not place them in the dishwasher. Make sure your molds are completely dry before storing.

If you choose express postage your order will be sent express. This doesn’t mean your order will be processed any earlier.
