FIRST SOME GOOD NEWS! A parcel that was sent on the 6th April reached the US yesterday (27th May) - I use this example so that customers can get an idea of how things are with the global postal systems at the moment - it's sounds not that great but believe me its a relief and good news to us because it is still within out estimates for international postage :)

As of the 22nd of April we are putting a pause on International Shipping. There is a backlog of parcels in Australia due to COVID-19 and we will resume shipping internationally once the backlog is cleared. Thanks so much :) x k

Due to COVID-19 disruptions there WILL be shipping delays.

Delays are not from us - we are exceeding our processing estimates by days and getting parcels out before due dates. These delays are due to carriers struggling with logistics and beyond our control.



Parcels despatched from 13th April onwards were tracked, at our own expense, as NO CUSTOMERS HAD REQUESTED OR PAID FOR TRACKING AS PER OUT SHIPPING POLICIES.

We did this out of our own pocket and out of goodwill as our items are handmade and we wanted to give them the best chance to arrive in time and safely. These parcels may not arrive for 6 weeks or more.

 We are not responsible for parcels going missing or taking a long time to reach you.



HOUSEKEEPING RULES FOR ANY ISSUES YOU MIGHT HAVE...

We have an impeccable 5 star rating and we will not respond to people who are rude to us or are not taking responsibility for NOT READING our shop policies.



We are a small, family business feeling the strain of this pandemic as much as you and your family. We are also human beings and kindness and politeness will get you a lot further with us than rudeness will.

We will always help if we can.

Bright, beautiful things for bright, beautiful people...

I started my shop here on Etsy when I took a break from my other business to have my little boy in 2009. For the first time a had a little time to myself to play around with my crafty side and starting making some very basic little assembled pieces from everyday items.

When a friend asked if I could make some little pieces for a Mother's Day stall at her school I said yes. She said "300 pieces?". I said, "Sure!". I had no idea how I was going to make that happen or whether people would even want to buy them but, first rule of business - say yes and work it out later :)

As it turned out the pieces were bought and that got me thinking; if people like them maybe I should try selling some on Etsy. I had been a long time Etsy addict when it came to shopping. Our house was filled with amazing craft from all over the world because of Etsy so it was a natural thing that I thought that I might be able to have a go at that.

And Each To Own was born.

Jump forward 7 years and I am now working out of my own off-the-grid studio on our farm in Northern New South Wales and having the best time of my life. I stock over 50 retail shops in Australia and overseas and have created a full time job for myself out of selling what I make here on Etsy. My lovely husband Rich helps me out during the busy times and I feel really lucky that I get to do this everyday.

With Each To Own I get to make lovely, wearable, day-to-day pieces that people rely on in their wardrobe. I love colour and sparkle and bold shapes and my work reflects that - it is such a joy to be able to bring my pieces to life.

I am a VERY lucky person to do what I do :)

Due to COVID-19 disruptions there WILL be shipping delays. That is the world right now and it is not our fault. Delays are not from us - we are EXCEEDING our processing estimates by days and getting parcels out before due dates. These delays are due to carriers struggling with logistics and beyond our control.

Your parcels are sent economy (3-6 weeks estimate) and these parcels DO NOT HAVE TRACKING.

If you want tracking you will need to request it and pay for it BEFORE you purchase your item. We will contact your for a further payment. This has ALWAYS been the case the whole 9 years that we have been here on Etsy.

We are not responsible for parcels going missing or taking a long time to reach you. We will not respond to rude or abusive messages.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders

We love feedback so should for any reason you be unhappy with your order please do not hesitate to contact us and we will try our best to work out a solution with you :)
Payment
We accept Paypal and credit cards through Etsy Payments and orders will not be shipped until notification of payment is received in full.
Delivery
All our items sent within Australia are sent via normal Australia Post (ie. no signature and no insurance) although should you wish to pay the additional charge we are happy to organise registered postage allowing you to sign for your order.

If you have not asked for registered post and a parcel goes missing we will not be held responsible, sorry.

Shipping prices consist of postage and handling.

**EXPRESS POST AND REGISTERED POST IS AVAILABLE IN THE SHIPPING SECTION OF THE SHOP** Extra charges apply so please purchase these items before checking out.

If you do not provide the correct address on your Etsy information and a parcel is returned to us we will have to charge you to resend your article as we are not at fault. Please make sure that your postal information is always correct on both of these to avoid waiting longer periods and paying extra postage.

Standard international shipping from Australia will not be tracked. International tracking will only be provided when the customer requests it and pays the extra charges. Shipping from Australia can take anywhere between 4-6weeks and we are not responsible for items that extra tracking has not been requested for. For some reason Canada can take up to 8 weeks so please keep that in mind.

We are not responsible for VAT or any other charges in your country and will not mark parcels anything other than "merchandise" and list the value. That is Australian Customs law.

PLEASE NOTE : For privacy reasons we do not offer direct pick up from our home - we appreciate your understanding in this matter.
