WHO RUNS THIS SHOP?
Fig 2 is a one-woman show! Welcome. My name is Cashmere. I'm a full-time graphic designer by trade, but I also do some freelance writing and photography. Anything to get out into the world to get to know fellow artists and makers. I’m a guitar player, video game slayer, tea drinker and art nerd. I love to work traditionally (print design, hand drawn illustrations) as well as digitally!

Getting to share my art with you is an absolute dream. I've wanted to own my own little shop for so long, and in 2020 I decided to make it happen. I opened this storefront in 2019 but didn't start making anything to sell out of it until the following year. Now I'm seeing my art get shipped all over the world, and I love it more than I can tell you! Thank you for being part of this. I'm so glad you're here.
WHERE IS FIG 2 BASED?
Fig 2 is designed and dreamed up in Southeast Michigan. Sometimes, tangible items are made here, too. Items that are created through a distributer come from New York, New York.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN SELLING?
I started selling handmade items out of my house here and there in 2017, but started selling here and there on other storefronts in 2019 (also when I opened this storefront, technically.) Etsy didn't become a real thing for me until 2020.

WHAT IS THIS SHOP ALL ABOUT?
This is a shop where designs are made with love and given with love. It's a passion project that allows me to keep the creative gears turning. It helps me to keep putting things out into the world. But it's also a place where portions of your money are going to someone else who needs it. You're supporting my dream to create as well as my dream to give back a little through my art. Thank you for that!
This shop started with a dream. The objects I want to sell out of it are meant to test perception and thought. Perception of self, of the world around you. How can I mesh design with the everyday in a way that encourages the buyer to think a little bit deeper? Even if it's in a silly way, at least you're looking at my art and thinking/feeling. That's what I hope to achieve, here. As a designer, I also love to make. Sometimes items will be one-offs, made once and never again. Sometimes they'll stick around. But they'll always be from the heart, a handmade, whimsical creation from my own brain.
WHAT IS FIG 2's RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY?
Due to the nature of the products sold, which are all handmade items/made on demand, all sales are final.
However, I do believe in total customer satisfaction. If you have any questions or concerns upon receiving your product(s), please contact me so that I can resolve them immediately. I want you to be totally happy!
DO YOU RUN CUSTOM ORDERS?
It depends on the item. If you see something you'd like customized, let me know and I'll tell you if it's possible! There is an extra fee for custom orders, based on the item. Standard shipping rates apply.
HOW ARE YOUR PRODUCTS MADE?
I create 100% of my own designs. From there, certain physical creations are made through a third-party distribution company, who handles the printing, packing, shipping, etc. These items are also made to order, meaning that the item is not created until you order it, unless stated otherwise. Alternatively, items listed as "ready to ship" are made in-house, totally by me, and are listed as such. These are ready to go out the door whenever you're ready to order them.
DO YOU SHIP WORLDWIDE?
Certain items can. It depends on my distributer and if the item is made in-house, by me, or not. Drop me a line. I'll see what I can do.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?
97% of orders shipping in the United States are shipped within 5 business days. More than half of orders are shipped within 3 business days or less depending on the number of items. Items shipped worldwide will take longer than this, up to two or three weeks. Some items are made on demand, so please keep that in mind when ordering.
MY ORDER WAS LOST IN THE MAIL. NOW WHAT?
Fig 2 is not responsible for packages lost in the mail and/or incorrectly entered mailing addresses.
WHAT SIZE GARMENT AM I?
Sizing for garments can be viewed in each product description.
CAN YOU INCLUDE A CUSTOM NOTE?
On puzzles and towels, no, since I go through a distributer. Please keep that in mind when ordering! All other items marked "ready to ship" I ship myself, so I can absolutely include a custom note with those items, just ask! :)
I NEED TO CHANGE SOMETHING OR CANCEL THE ORDER. NOW WHAT?
Once an order is placed, cancellation and order changes are not possible! Please keep this in mind before buying.
WHAT IS A FIG-SHAPED SPACE?
Every month, I donate a dollar of each item sold to a charity of my choosing. It's just a way for me to give back a little every month. Purchase anything from me and a dollar of that goes to a charity listed in my announcements section, automatically. :) Sorry, you don't get to choose, but know that it is going to a good cause, no matter what charity it is that month!
