How Hightanium Design came to be
En 2015, un de nos amis a reçu un diagnostic de lymphome non hodgkinien et il se médicamentait lui-même pour la douleur. À l’époque, nous travaillions dans le domaine médical à la création de prototypes pour l’ophtalmologie et nous avions beaucoup de titane CP (commercialement pur) sous la main. Il nous a approchés sur la possibilité de créer un tuyau en titane et le premier « Outlaw » a été créé.
Tous les noms de tuyaux, à l’exception du Bamboo, qui nous a été proposé par un client, sont tous des noms de pistes de ski à Steamboat Springs, au Colorado.

Back in 2015 a friend of ours was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins lymphoma and he was medicating himself for the pain. At the time, we were working in the medical field creating prototypes for Ophthamology and had a lot of CP (commercially pure) titanium on hand. He approached us about the possibility of creating a pipe out of titanium and the first "Outlaw" was created.
All of the pipe names aside from the Bamboo, which was an idea brought to us by a customer, are all names of the ski runs in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
