Can the brass items be used outdoors?
Yes. All of our brass items are solid brass are meant for both indoor and outdoor use.
How much text can you engrave?
Each item has its own text limit which you can find in the item description. Each line has a character space limit. A character space means a letter or number, a space, and any punctuation marks.
How do I submit the text I want engraved?
Submitting text is easy. Within each item description is the format you can copy and then paste into the Personalization Box or Notes to Seller box at checkout. Alternatively, you can send your information using Etsy's messaging feature. We will never send a blank item unless you have specifically requested it to be blank.
Do you engrave on both sides?
On many items, the answer is yes, we do engrave on both sides. Please refer to the description for the item you are purchasing to see if this is available on that particular item. If the item does not explicitly say that I engrave on both sides, please ask.
How long does shipping take to a US address?
All shipping is USPS.
The shipping options below are for transit times only, and do not include the time it takes to engrave and process your order.
Free Shipping is the same as the USPS First Class and Letter Mail, which is usually between 3-10 days. There isn't a guaranteed delivery time frame. There may not be tracking on your order.
Priority shipping is typically between 2-3 days, but has no guarantee delivery time frame. During holidays, the delivery times are often longer.
Priority Express is guaranteed 2 days, and this option is best when you need your item as soon as possible. Keep in mind the shipping time frame is 2 days.
Can you engrave logos?
Sorry, at this time we cannot engrave logos.
Will my text be centered?
Yes, all text is automatically and perfectly centered.
Will you send a proof of my order?
We do not provide proofs because to do so we would need to engrave your order. Once we have engraved your order, there are no refunds.
International and Special Characters.
We can engrave most international characters, and some special characters. These requests may require communicating with you which may affect the processing of your order. Please remember to check your account for messages.
At this time, we cannot engrave tildes (~). If you supply a tilde, we will engrave a dash (-). Additionally, we cannot engrave emojis, or logos.
Where do I send my text?
Please provide your text in the Personalization Box on the order page. You can send additional or clarifying information in the Notes to Seller box at checkout, or through a message, or by email after your order is placed. Please be sure to read the entire item description for important information regarding how to submit your text.
