Jewelry for the Old Soul
Soy un Alma Vieja y tengo debilidad por las "cosas viejas". Gravito hacia todas las cosas que enamoran el corazón: LA RISA, EL AMOR, LA FE, LA FAMILIA, LA AMISTAD, LA MÚSICA y la POESÍA DE LA VIDA. También amo, amo, AMO las joyas. Parecía natural que esta Alma Vieja hiciera piezas que reflejaran estas pasiones.
Cada paso del proceso creativo es realizado por mí: el grabado de latón, la soldadura, el anudado a mano, el envejecimiento y las aplicaciones de pátina, etc. Corto, teño, brujo y acondiciono cada pieza de cuero con la que trabajo. Todos los elementos de arcilla están formados solo por mis manos. Disfruto cada paso del proceso creativo, y estoy en mi momento más feliz al hacer cosas. Mi trabajo ha aparecido en "Belle Armoire Jewelry" y "Jewelry Affaire".

I’m an Old Soul and have a weakness for “old stuff.” I gravitate towards all of the things that romance the heart: LAUGHTER, LOVE, FAITH, FAMILY, FRIENDSHIP, MUSIC, and the POETRY OF LIFE. I also love, love, LOVE jewelry. It only seemed natural for this Old Soul to make pieces that reflected these passions.
Each step of the creative process is performed by me: the brass etching, soldering, hand-knotting, aging and patina applications, etc. I cut, dye, burnish, and condition every single piece of leather I work with. All of the clay elements are formed by my hands alone. I enjoy every single step of the creative process, and am at my most happiest when making things. My work has been featured in "Belle Armoire Jewelry" and "Jewelry Affaire."
