3 out of 5 starsPacking to protect the item inside the plastic outside case was rather flimsy, and the internal carrier in which it rested was both flimsy and torn. The item itself did not appear to have suffered any damage.

All of these items I am selling are as is from my fathers collection. The packing to protect the item inside the box was very good (wrapped in bubble wrap, and used a heavy duty box). As far as the white plastic carrier inside the clear plastic box, that white carrier is made of a very thin plastic and it simply meant to keep the Railroad car from moving around inside the clear plastic box. The tear in that internal carrier would in no way reduce it's ability to protect the Railroad car, and the fact that it was torn was very clearly shown in the pictures I posted of the item and it's box. Sorry if this was an issue for you. I would suggest that in the future please inspect the photographs closely and feel free to ask me questions about any concerns you may have. I hope you enjoy the Railroad model.
