Our Story
I'm Cory Harris, the inventor of zip my dress®.
I created zip my dress® because the zipper pullers on the market wouldn't work on an invisible zipper. When I'd need help with my zipper in the morning, I would run next door to my neighbor, Jan. She would quickly zip me up and I'd dash off to work. Sometimes if Jan wasn't home, I'd throw on a sweater and ask someone at work for help.
After divorcing in 2011 and moving, I was completely alone. I missed Jan. I needed to find a way to be independent.
After a lot of trial and error, I made a zipper puller that worked. It wasn't long before friends and family wanted pullers for themselves. On a whim, I took my puller to a patent attorney. That was the beginning of zip my dress® -- the best solution for zipping your own dress!
"Honey, will you zip my dress?" is something we want to say for fun, not because we are desperate.
