Came with current firmware & default settings, so all I had to do was attach the antenna, turn it on, and set the long and short node names. Very well constructed; I think it will deal with the Boulder Creek rains very well. Would definitely get another if I were outfitting another location --- value for the money as opposed to doing it myself is well worth it!!

This solar node is rock solid. We've had nothing but rain here for the past four days, and the battery has barely been drained. This truly is a set-it-and-forget-it Meshtastic solution. Additionally, the seller helped me through some shipping issues (not due to his fault—USPS fun) and gave me some great antenna advice along the way. It's clear he cares.

Works great! There are no other nodes in my area sadly (I want to fix that!) SO my first node contact was actually from an American Airlines flight overhead that then connected me to a node on the other side of the state! Very happy with purchase. Buying another right now to install on a 15 story building.

small issue with the USB port (no data connection for some reason) i had to disassemble to flash new firmware, but otherwise the node is great!

Really nice unit. Well thought out design. It is up and running. Battery stays nearly at full charge even on rainy, snowy days as I have had most days since installing it.
