Unique wedding hair pieces and flower crowns
Hi there,
Thanks for taking the time to look at my shop and learn a little bit about me.
I got married in June 2015 to my best friend.
During the lead up to our wedding I had very specific ideas of the head piece I wanted. I searched almost every corner of the internet for the comb that existed in my imagination. I couldn't find it and at that point I didn't even consider making it, and ended up purchasing a beautiful handmade piece off etsy.
Fast forward to October 2015, my husband and I discussed trying for a baby. I was filled with excitement and joy and then blind panic asking myself if we can afford to live on one income.
I immediately looked up the phrase "things to make and sell on etsy" and I found a beading tutorial. I said the cursed words we have all said at one point or another "That doesn't look so hard, I could do that". I'm not going to tell you how that turned out but it rhymes with "pismal pailure"
My second attempt wasn't as shabby but still not up to my standard. My third attempt was The Isabelle comb and became my first sale.
I am forever learning and refining my style, I think I was drawn to hairpieces because I had so many ideas and looked at so many gorgeous pieces for my own wedding that I wanted to create something amazing that people yearn to wear and something that people can afford to wear.
Sometimes I can look at a bead or a piece of lace and know exactly what I want to make, sometimes my brain decides 4 am is the perfect time to wake me up with ideas about a great piece I could make. Most times though, the piece takes on a life of its own as I go.
