Local Wave es una marca lituana relacionada con el arte del surf y otros deportes de tabla, con sede en la costa oeste de Lituania, cerca del mar Báltico, en Palanga.
La Esencia de Local Wave se basa en nuestro amor por el Mar, la Música, el Arte y los deportes de tabla son los hilos conductores que nos unen a todos.
Local Wave está inspirada en la película "Bra boys", "Chasing Mavericks" y Jay Moriarity, surfista de Santa Cruz / California.

Artista: Samanta Marile Ibáñez nació en 1987 en Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Mi trayectoria artística comenzó en primer grado, graduándome del Bachillerato de Arte Eduardo Balsis en Lituania. Posteriormente, estudié en la Academia de Artes de Vilna. En 2009, completé mis estudios de Diseño de Vestuario y me licencié en Artes.
En 2009, tras mis estudios, junto con mi amigo Martynas Ilgauskas, que compartía mis ideas, fundé la marca internacional de street style juvenil Mad Pico. Los principales elementos creativos fueron el diseño gráfico, la serigrafía, la impresión digital y el bordado. Las colecciones se expandieron internacionalmente y colaboramos con éxito con boutiques de moda alternativa en Alemania: Berlín, Múnich, Stuttgart, Hamburgo, Magdeburgo, Australia, Gran Bretaña, República Checa y Rusia.
En 2010, la ropa urbana de Mad Pico se presentó en una de las semanas de moda alternativa más grandes del mundo, la exposición London Edge.
Más tarde comencé a crear atributos de diseño gráfico para estudios de grabación de música alternativa, como los discos alemanes Bandworms, la banda de rock sueca Perkele y la marca de ropa urbana Hooligan.
En mi día a día, el arte y los deportes acuáticos me acompañan; son inseparables. La naturaleza —el mar, las olas, el viento— nos permite acercarnos a la verdadera naturaleza humana, nos inspira a crear y disfrutar del momento. La vida es demasiado corta para competir constantemente unos contra otros, contra el tiempo, que nos lleva muy por delante.

PINTURAS - Son mis historias creativas, como momentos pausados de interminables viajes, fotos, películas.. cuando el botón de la cámara no se presiona a tiempo.
Estos son pequeños fragmentos: rostros de personas que conoces, a veces incluso desconocidos, historias contadas por una sensación de libertad, el susurro del mar o el viento. Mi principal inspiración es el surf, el kitesurf, el longboard, los viajes, los tatuajes, la música y el arte. Mis obras creativas están dirigidas a personas individualistas que desean expresar su estilo propio y decorar el interior de cafeterías, estudios de belleza o tatuajes, boutiques, tiendas, incluso oficinas o casas.

Artist: Samanta Marile Ibanez was born in 1987 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
My artistic journey began in the first grade, I graduated from the Eduardo Balsis Art Gymnasium in Lithuania. Later I studied at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. In 2009 I completed my studies in Costume Design, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree.
In 2009, after my studies, together with my like-minded friend Martynas Ilgauskas, I founded the international youth street style brand Mad Pico streetwear. The main creative elements were graphic design, screen printing, digital printing and embroidery. The collections reached abroad and we successfully collaborated with alternative fashion boutiques in Germany - Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Magdeburg, Australia, Great Britain, the Czech Republic, and Russia.
In 2010, Mad Pico streetwear was presented at one of the world's largest alternative fashion weeks, the London Edge exhibition.
Later I started creating graphic design attributes for alternative music recording studios, such as the German Bandworms records, the Swedish rock band Perkele, and the Hooligan streetwear brand.
In my everyday life, art and water sports accompany me, they are inseparable from each other. Nature - the sea, waves, wind allows us to be closer to the true nature of man, inspires us to create and enjoy the moment. Life is too short to constantly race against each other, against time, which is far ahead of everyone.

PAINTINGS - These are my creative stories, as if paused moments from endless travels, photos, movies .. when the camera button is not pressed in time.
These are mini-excerpts - the faces of people you meet, sometimes even strangers, stories told by a sense of freedom, the rustle of the sea or the wind. The main inspiration is surfing, kiting, longboarding, travel, tattoo, music and art. My creative works are intended for individualists who want to express their individual style, decorate the interior of cafes, beauty or tattoo studios, boutiques, shops even an office or home.
