Sometimes the small batch is dependent on the material—there may be access to a limited quantity of rough sawn Missouri elm wood to make laser etched signs with, or two felled backyard black walnut trees that have been milled onsite by a local portable sawmill sawyer are patiently drying to later be fabricated into custom countertops, tables, mantles, drink coasters. Impatiently waiting, really--I can't wait!!
Other times the small batch size is dependent on your needs—you may want to profess your love on one personalized ornament to your only child or partner, send a personalized medallion for a recovery anniversary or a graduation, or you may need to send out multiple laser cut and engraved kraft paper event invitations/cards.
I am a keen observer in life, make connections, and tend to bend with the wind (after some stubbornness usually!)--I move in the direction the world, my passions, and convictions are signaling me to move in. Most of the time that has been a meandering path filled with many trials, tribulations, healing, adventure, and love. I've been fortunate to work with many different materials and well versed in a variety of tools and methods of making, through my artistic adventures.
For SBSA, that means I can work with you online or locally in-person by appointment to create a design for your next project, endeavor, experience, or space with artistic grace, simplicity, beauty, and integrity. Finished products will be shipped or available for pick-up. Local delivery service also available.
Personally, my other meandering current endeavors include nesting at home in Omaha with my partner and our Weimaraner Diesel, or traveling (preferably on our motorcycles), gardening, hosting other travelers, interior design projects for clients or my home, spending time with my recovery and blood family, and collaborating with other artists to stand up, live with love, and thrive in this sometimes overwhelming and mixed-up world.
